Stop Fighting, Start Flowing
Too often we are sold on the notion of “fighting for what we want”- but what if you could “flow” there instead..
Hi Team…
I want to talk about something today….
Sometimes we think “the fight” and “the grind” is the answer- it shows we are on the right track…
I want to warn against this…
I coach enough people in their 50s and 60s to know that the ending is not good and it is not worth trashing your body and mind for a “result”….
You know, nobody really talks about this today- but life needs to have a rhythm…
It needs to have a flow….
It needs to work at a speed that is right for you…
Too often we are looking at the speed of others- how fast they are moving and try to match when it is not our cadence….
Or, we listen to boards and shareholders and the media driving us at a speed and level we are not designed to move at.. and as a result- we do not get better, we get worse.
I too have fallen victim to this at times- and they were my worst times.
I am a slower mover, a person that likes to work through things, and a person that likes to have a basic competency and understanding before diving in…
That is ok- and if you are the same, it is ok.
And, if you are somebody that would rather jump in and figure it out later- that is ok too.
Just move at your pace and know that constantly battling every single day is not the answer to success- but the instead the road to anxiety, frustration, irritability, and just not enjoying your life.
What if instead of fighting for the topical stuff,- we instead chose the direction that keeps us in flow and in a positive rhythm…
A direction without the pressure, the extreme debt, and the direction that ultimately brings out our best and a sense of peace…
I know this may be deep for a Monday- but I have been coming across many entrepreneurs and leaders that are tired, going through the motions of life, but no longer thriving…
Their current life and business is beating them…
I want this to stop for them- and it stops by making a choice to do things differently…
