Your “WHY” Doesn’t Matter

Many today obsess over their “why”- but spending time figuring out “why” often translates very little to the work needed to become WHO you want to become.

Hi Team…

I am putting some final touches on my presentation before heading down to Miami to work with one of the top sportswear brands in the apparel game…

Their top leaders are heading down to Miami to work on one thing: GETTING BETTER.

They are coming off their best year yet- and want nothing more than to improve and get to the next level.. just like all of you…

But before I get going, I want to mention something today….


Stop reading, listening, planning, strategizing- and take an action.

This is a theme today- we listen to all these damn podcasts, read all of the books, and still do not take action.

We take comfort in the listening and in the reading- as it leads us to “understanding”- but what it does not lead us towards is results if no actions are taken…

I come across podcasts and youtube videos today of all of the “theorists” and all they do is talk about “why” this and “why” that….

And honestly none of it freakin matters…

Who gives a shit about WHY….

Get to work…

Why never matters- the only thing that matters is you are HERE (NOW) and are not getting what you want or achieving what you want as a result of either:

a. you do not know what you want….

b. you are not doing the work….

It is only those 2-things- never the result of WHY.

This is the great flaw of many psychologists- they work for find WHY and never put a plan together to get you going TODAY.

Truth be told, I write books but hate the work of most authors…

Many have not done shit…

  • They just talk…
  • They just give opinions but they have never been in the trench with people battling and trying to win….
  • They have never been in the bunker when somebody is frozen and not taking action…
  • They have never coached anyone to true victory- overcoming the self to build a great future…

You know what works?

Not opinion…

Not over-thinking…


Work works.

It always has and always will…

Work is often uncomfortable…

It often makes us feel uneasy at first- but it works.

And it always will.

When you do the right work that = taking the right actions that get you closer to your goals.

And here is the thing about work- you have to do it every damn day….


Work. work. work.

Got it?

Am I clear?

No shortcuts- no more theory- no more philosophy… get to work..

If you are overweight- get to the gym. (Everyday)

If you are feeling negative- change your self talk and your mindset in the moment by reframing everyday garbage comes out of your mouth and into your mind- every day.

If you are not achieving what you want- get a coach and get coached every day.

Many are stuck in their own heads believing their own lies — that can stop immediately.

Make it stop by taking action…

Action(s) that are different than the ones you have been taking…

Let’s go.
